Named both for the iris like design of the top as well as the flower-like stem shapes in the base, this pedestal style table makes a wonderful accent piece for a chair, a niche accent in a hallway or entryway, a plant stand, or just by itself.
The table top is created from 33 individual sections fitted together in a series of hexakaidecagons, a fancy name for a sixteen sided geometric shape. The table edge is gently rounded and then returns in a gentle angle underneath giving it a light, elegant feel.
Handcrafted from aged American Black Walnut and finished with teak oil and hand rubbed hard wax. A single coat of lacquer is used on the table surface only as additional protection.
